About The Nifty Thrifter
A 15,000+ square foot thrift store opening December 1, 2026 in Commerce, Georgia.
The Nifty Thrifter is a brand-new, family-run thrift store in Commerce, Georgia, opening its doors on December 1, 2026. At more than 15,000 square feet, our floor is built to feel less like a cluttered bargain bin and more like a treasure hunt: thousands of items arranged so you can browse, compare, and find the piece you did not know you needed.
We stock new arrivals every single day. Our racks and shelves carry clothing for the whole family, shoes and boots, bags and totes, jewelry and accessories, and home decor to finish a room. Because our inventory turns over constantly, no two visits are ever the same. The jacket that caught your eye on Tuesday is likely gone by Saturday, and something even better will be waiting the next time you walk in.
The Nifty Thrifter is built for the people of Commerce, Banks County, Jackson County, and everyone within a short drive down I-85 who loves a good deal. Whether you are furnishing a first apartment, hunting for vintage denim, or simply stretching a dollar further, you will find prices worth the trip. We are an independent, locally owned small business, run by people who live here and shop here too.
We also believe in looking after the neighbors who look after us. Seniors, teachers, first responders, and military members receive an extra 15% off every day as part of our Community Hero Discount. Come early on opening day, bring a friend, and see why a good thrift store is the best kind of treasure hunt.
